During the lockdown Co-operative Board member Gordon Chetwyn has spent many hours at the ground working hard to improve the facilities at Liberty Way. He has transformed a couple of untidy store rooms into a bright gymnasium, clad the front of the club offices with corrugated sheets, painted newly erected gates with Boro stripes, as well as numerous other jobs.
As lockdown eases we are looking to relaunch our volunteer scheme on Tuesday, 7 July, from 9.30 am onwards. Volunteers will have no problem in working within social distancing guidelines while assisting with the ‘to do list’, which includes painting and a general tidy up. All materials will be provided.
Several valued volunteers have already returned over the past week or so and we would love to see existing and new volunteers at the club on Tuesday morning, although other days can be arranged to fit in with any spare time available.
This is a great opportunity for the fan base to help boost the wonderful work already undertaken and work alongside other Boro fans. If you require any further guidance then please contact John Hobson – john@nbfccoop.co.uk – 07961 891459 or Mike Turner – mike@nbfccoop.co.uk -07854 175522.
Many thanks in anticipation of your support.
